Lip and cheek balm

A herbal balm made with magical herbs, grown by Green Fox Apothecary at their garden in Enoshima, Kanagawa. It nourishes the skin while adding a soft, natural pink tint to lips and cheeks. ❤️

Lithospermum root, marshmallow root, rose petals, and butterfly pea flowers are steeped in grapeseed oil for a month. This oil is slowly blended with coconut oil and local organic beeswax to create a deeply moisturizing and protective balm. Non-greasy, creamy balm ❤️

Ingredients:

• Herb-infused organic grapeseed oil
  (marshmallow root, lithospermum root, red root,
  saffron flower, safflower)
• Organic coconut oil
  
• Locally ethically harvested beeswax
  
• Ylang-ylang essential oil (1%) .

Lithospermum root (natural color)
Used since ancient times, this plant is believed to restore skin balance with its antioxidant and skin-soothing properties. Modern research suggests it may offer UV absorption while potentially protecting against premature aging and associated inflammation and oxidative stress.

Marshmallow Root
Topical use of marshmallow root may alleviate skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, dry skin, and chapped skin. Studies have shown it has potent anti-inflammatory properties, due to its skin-softening mucilage that soothes and protects the skin. It is considered a mild herb that can be tolerated even by people with extremely sensitive skin prone to allergic reactions in most cases.

Grapeseed oil is known for its high vitamin E content and antioxidants. It is also our friend in protecting the skin's collagen.

Coconut oil gives the balm a smooth texture and helps moisture to be absorbed into the skin quickly.

Beeswax helps provide a barrier to retain all the good oils in the skin's natural oils. (Grapeseed oil is used in skincare, with beneficial components extracted from herbs.)

Note:

• Always apply with clean fingers and away from direct sunlight. With proper use, the balm will last 3-6 months depending on daily use.
  
• Although it is made from natural ingredients, children and those with sensitive skin should perform a patch test on the inside of their cheek or wrist before use.
  
• Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
• Colors may appear different in the image than in reality.
